The Blessing....

Sunday Dec 2/2007 was Maija's blessing, it was such a neat experience, moments like that make me very grateful for the priesthood, and the power that it has in our lives. My mom made Maija this beautiful dress for the occassion, and it was a great day, we were able to have lots of good friends, and family there.

Maija is such a smiley baby, here is one of her first smiles, right after we got home from the land, after her 1 month birthday she started smiling a ton.

For Halloween we decided to take Maija out, and in style. Here is her Princess Leia costume! She looked adorable, and although she does have a lot of hair, we were unable to do the hair style without a little bit of help. She is growing, and growing! I love our little princess! She did get a bit of candy, but was generous enough to donate it to her Mom and Dad, lol! The Costume was a hit!

She is finally here! I really should have updated this a LONG time ago, but our little baby girl finally arrived, here are a few photos. She arrived Oct 11th, which makes her only 19 days old!!! She is just our pride and joy, and has truly taken over our lives in a wonderful way! On Wed Oct 10th, Wyatt and I went to the Rockyview Hospital to have me induced, since our little baby was already a week overdue. After 12 hours of labor, and a C-section, our little Maija was born. She was 6lbs, 12 oz, and 19 inches long! It is amazing how such a small person can change your life to drastically! I love my little Tiny one! Here a picture of Maija a few minutes after she was born, and one of her, and her Dad!!

Growing, growing, growing...

So things are just moving along with our little baby, we only have about a month left before we meet the new addition to our family, and that's both incredibly exciting, and a bit intimidating (diapers anyone?)

Last Monday we completed our last baby class, we learned all about diapers, baths, and what to buy, and what NOT to buy for your baby.

This is all so SURREAL, but awesome!

We had a great summer so far; Waterton, Rocky, Drummheller are just a few of the places we have visited, I'll post more pictures next time

22 km! YEAH BABY!!!

So this Saturday, Wyatt, Whitney, the gentlemen, and I went on a hike. We were planning on doing a pretty easy hike (between 5-8km), but our little hike, turned into one of our longest hikes this year! We went to Ribbon Creek, here are a few pics...the first one is of the waterfall at the end of the hike...although it is a bit of a walk (11km to get to the waterfall is it TOTALLY worth it!)

Here is a picture of me at the waterfall, it felt SOO nice after a long hike to get totally wet...

and finally, the gentlemen...they look so cute here! We actually made Remington tired! Which is amazing since he never looks tired at all! Thanks to Whitney, and Wyatt for your help! not bad for a 5 month pregnant girl!!..sorry I HAD to brag!

last week, and it was so neat to see parts of a real
person. Our due date is on Oct 5th/2007.

Our Wedding....

This is my absolute favorite wedding photo! Wyatt and I met forever ago (ok 5 years ago!), after returning home from our missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints. We married in the Cardston, AB Temple on 2004.

Ok, there is an explanation to this pic, even though I work in TECH SUPPORT, I had no idea how to get our photos from home loaded into this blog....Pathetic, eh?.....it might be best not to tell you, who I work for since, that might proof a bad move for our company! So this was the pic Wyatt picked to show me how to do this.
And in case you are wondering who this is??...Well this is a very important family member, this is Winchester, and anyone who knows the Olsons has to meet him. He looks adorable, but don't be fooled I have never met a dog with more personality than him!
