So I finally finished, I still have to varnish the painting, and eventually frame it, but this is a quick preview of what the finished, unframed painting looks like. I'm very proud of it, as this is my first completely original work. Wyatt took the photo, so this is not a copy of someone else's painting.
Unfortunately you can't really see the details, for example the trees have a lot of green highlights that you can't see in the picture, but overall it does give a fair impression of the final work.

Monica, this is gorgeous!! having dabbled in oils myself, I am in awe. and that must have taken forever to dry, let alone paint! very nice choice for your 1st original, you & Wyatt make a great team!
Thanks Julie! It did take me a long time, but mostly because I don't work as fast as I could ;)
Wow Monica, this is absolutely gorgeous and an amazing talent that I am always wishing I had! Wow, wow, wow! Give me paper, glue and scissors and away I go. Give me paint and away everyone goes! Congrats!
